The Countdown Begins!
We can't wait to see everyone this weekend! Just in case you need directions to the Marbury Center, they are located here. If you are at a hotel downtown, you will have no problem at all getting there and it is actually walking distance from all downtown accomodations.

The Case of the Missing RSVP Card!
A lone RSVP card has come back to us. It appears that it may have fallen out of an envelope en route to its final destination. If you get an invitation, but no RSVP card, please call either Eric or Julie, or send a little note with your reply, along with the number of guests you will be bringing (including yourself) to:
1015 Stewart Ave
Augusta GA 30904
Now, if you don't even get the invitation, maybe just a black envelope with nothing inside, it was our wedding invitation, and you're invited, of course!

Rancid and Romance
Eric and I went to the Rancid show in Atlanta on July 25. I kept telling him that I just wanted my picture with Tim Armstrong--that's all I wanted. We were standing towards the stage watching Murphy's Law when Tim walked by, and Eric ran up to him and asked if he wouldn't mind taking a picture with me. He was awesome about it and took the time to pose and say hello. About five minutes later, a bouncer points at Eric and me and says "come backstage", to which we comply, and as I walk through to the backstage, Tim and Lars grabbed us and told us to walk up to the stage. I'm looking at Eric trying to figure out how he got us where we were and he was just smiling...as soon as Rancid started playing I was in heaven, dancing and singing along. We were literally standing ten feet or less away from Lars, and kind of away from all of the other folk who were as lucky as us to be standing on stage.
At one point, Lars tells everyone that he needs to pull a friend over to make an annoucement, and gets Eric over to the microphone. At that point, I knew what was going to happen. I just did. I'll never forget the two sentences that came out of his mouth. He said "This is the music that brought us together. This is the girl that changed my life. Will you marry me?" to which I freaked out and I'm not sure if I even said anything I just put out my hand and hugged him while everyone freaked out.
That day turned out to be one of the best days of my life. Eric nailed the proposal right on the head...it couldn't get more rock n' roll than Rancid!

Welcome to our wedding site
If you are reading this, you are probably invited to our wedding! This site will give you all of the information that you need as far as transportation and accomodations go. We will also be sharing pictures and memories with you as we prepare for this special day. Currently, Julie is preparing the save the date postcards that everyone will be receiving. Our good friend Marcus Dove has graciously provided his illustration services with the "DFL" logo and the diamond ring design that will be used on the save the date cards as well as the invitations.
